Spring 2010 Plans - Updated May 15, 2010
After a short, late-summer/fall season in small boats (doubles and singles), SRRA is ready to start up again on May 18 of 2010!
We will be continuing our emphasis on small-boats (singles, doubles, and even quads) this year, in addition to rowing the eights!

The first practice for Masters is scheduled for Tuesday, May 18, 2010, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 to 9:00 am.
So mark your calendars and encourage our old friends to rejoin the club. See more details on our Practice page.

2010 will be a fantastic season!

Sessions for our summer Learn to Row have also been set. Contact the LTR Coordinator to receive more information, and see our Learn to Row Page .

Head of the Lake - Posted November 10, 2009
Brandan Borgias joined the Palouse Rowers (Pullman, WA) at the Head of the Lake regatta in Seattle. Some photos from that event, which featured over 300 boats can be seen at Head of the Lake Photos and The Seattle Times.

Head of the Spokane - Posted October 24, 2009
Four masters raced in the annual Head of the Spokane, hosted by Gonzaga University on October 24, 2009. Lisa Galow put in a great effort in her single. The men's double, stroked by Joe Gasperi with Brandan Borgias in the navigator seat, placed second in their event. The mixed team of Lisa (doing double duty for a 20K day) and Jeff Evans closed out the day of racing in blustery conditions. It was a beautiful day of rowing.

SRRA Needs Coxswains! - Posted October 24, 2009
The club is looking for energetic and dedicated individuals who would be willing to come out and cox our shells. If you know anyone with experience or would like instruction in coxing, ask them to contact the club or come down to practice this summer. Coxswains only pay the membership fee to join SRRA. We can't steer the boat without the coxswain!
